I love books – the feel of a book, flipping random pages and reading. It isn’t the same on an e-reader, but with my Sony reader (sure the others work the same way) I am able to download the books on my computer. Then they show up in color and I can run through pages quickly – change chapters quickly…. It’s an acquired taste, but worth sampling.
So, today I was on Amazon looking for two books to purchase, but really wanted them now and they are most often cheaper on the e-reader. So surfed over to the Sony Reader Store and purchased: The Flavor Bible: The Essential Guide to Culinary Creativity by Karen Page and Ratio: The Simple Codes Behind the Craft of Everyday Cooking by Michael Ruhlman.
I do purchase books online through Amazon – purchased two last week for a family member, who hasn’t switched over to the e-reader cult. I love Amazon, too!
